Family Sessions for a Cause

Earlier this month I was a photographer for a series of family sessions benefiting Children’s House International. (Organized by Breana of Forget-me-knot Weddings!) Before I signed up I didn’t know much about the organization only that they helped facilitate adoptions locally and abroad. While I was there I was able to hear Debbie share a bit about the company and it’s roots! “CHI provides ethical adoption services [and] supports disadvantaged children with humanitarian aid worldwide.” Founded in Utah years ago and now CHI’s main office is just around the corner in Lynden!

Somehow the weather was perfect on either side of this day. It poured! But everyone was such a good sport. I love the little rain lines you can spot in most of the images!

All the proceeds from each session benefited CHI. If your interested to learn more about Children’s House International please visit their website!

Lastly how freaking cute are these cookies by Morgan G Cookies?! She made them as a thank you for all the photogs!
